Toronto, ON - Dome Productions, a full-service provider of mobile production and transmission services, is pleased to announce the launch of a High Definition Airpack capable of multi-format, broadcast quality television production. 

With the successful launch of Majestic, Canada’s first multi-format high definition production mobile in March 2004 and the launch of a second Hi Def truck, Horizon, in April 2005, the launch of a High Definition Airpack further cements Dome Productions’ reputation as a leader in providing high definition production services to North American and international markets.

“The launch of an HD Airpack was a logical expansion of our remote facilities business,” says Dome Productions Senior Vice-President and General Manager Mary Ellen Carlyle, “particularly to those clients with specific production challenges arising from the rapid advent of high definition production in North America and internationally.  It allows us to offer alternate solutions when costs, geography and availability prohibit the use of standard production mobile units.”

Dome Productions’ High Definition Airpack is a multi-format airpack capable of live broadcast production, with many of the same features available in Dome’s existing fleet of nine mobile production units.  The capability of unilateral and stand-alone live production is built in, and Dome's Airpack is equipped to handle production requirements of series, sports, music and concert records.
